Message from AAPCCA Leadership | CPC Exam Practice Test Questions And Answers For Medical Coder Certification

A heartfelt thank you to all of the officers and chapters who have participated in either on-site or virtual officer training this year. Many positive comments have been received from the officers who have participated, and renewed enthusiasm has been generated which is clearly seen by the activity on the officer Facebook page. 76 of our chapters had participation by ALL of their officers and 98 had participation by all but 1. 81 additional chapters had participation by at least one officer. We have 47 chapters who have not participated. We have trained 425 officers at on-site in person training and 1017 virtually. Our goal is to have all 2500+ officers participating.

Let us make 2019 the best year ever for our chapters. Thank you to each and every officer who has stepped forward to fulfill the AAPC and AAPCCA Mission Statement to uphold a higher standard.

Ruby Woodward

Ruby Woodward, BSN, CPC, CPMA, COSC, CSFAC, CPB, has over 40 years of experience in the medical arena, starting as an orthopedic nurse. She has spoken nationally on various coding and reimbursement issues. Woodward is coding and compliance manager at Suburban Radiology in Minnesota. She also codes and is a consultant for several orthopedic groups. Woodward’s areas of expertise include coding, documentation, policy interpretation, education, data quality, appeals, and denials. She is a member of the AAPC Chapter Association board of directors, served as the 2016-2017 treasurer, and is the 2017-2018 vice chair. Woodward held the offices of president, vice president, and member development officer of the Minneapolis, Minn., local chapter.
