The Manager, HIM Coding – BayCare Medical Group is responsible for the over-sight and management for BayCare Medical Group coding and clinical documentation management team. The BayCare Medical Group Coding Manager is an expert Coder and has experience in correlating coding accuracy and documentation appropriateness to resolve coding issues and to present information on going (i.e., case mix, DRG analysis, physician and nursing education, coding seminars). Performs annual evaluations for the Coding Supervisors and Coding Coordinators. Responsible to establish the BayCare Coding capital and operations budgets. Responsible to meet or beat budgets.
